💙 A MESSAGE FROM EDNA ELEMENTARY Dear Edna Elementary Families, What a wonderful first day at Edna Elementary! It was so exciting to welcome our Wranglers back and see our hallways and classrooms filled with smiling faces again. Thank you to our families for your patience, support, and flexibility today. The beginning of a new school year takes a little time to settle into, and we appreciate everyone working together as our students learn their new routines. 🚗 Reminder for Tomorrow Morning Beginning tomorrow, Edna Elementary will be a closed campus, and parents/guardians will not be able to walk students into the building. We will have plenty of staff members ready to welcome our Wranglers and help them get where they need to go! 💙 Our back car rider line opens at 7:10 AM, and the front circle drive opens at 7:35 AM for PK–1 drop-off only. Please do not enter or use the front circle drive before 7:35 AM, as this area is needed for our buses. Students dropped off in the front will enter through the main doors. Please have your child ready to exit the vehicle with their belongings when you reach the drop-off area. Staff will be there to open vehicle doors and help keep traffic moving safely and efficiently. We are giving grace as everyone adjusts to new morning routines this week; tardies will officially begin next week. We are off to a great start, Wranglers! Thank you for trusting us with your children and for your continued support as we begin an amazing school year together. With Wrangler Pride, Kelsey Glover Principal, Edna Elementary School The Wrangler Way: Believe. Grow. Achieve. 💙

📣 Edna Elementary’s SchoolPass Dismissal System is ready to use!

Families, please log in to your SchoolPass account and make sure your student information is correct. SchoolPass will be used to manage dismissal and dismissal changes throughout the 2026–2027 school year.

🚗 Remember: All students automatically default to car rider.

Please review the graphic for instructions on setting up carpools, buses, and walkers.

Important: Please minimize the amount of dismissal changes during the first two weeks of school. If at all possible, please keep your child’s dismissal method the same during this time. This consistency will help our staff get to know your child and ensure we understand how they go home each day.

Need help accessing your account? Try Forgot Password first. If you still need assistance, call the EES Office at 361-782-2953.

A mix of emotions filled the halls this morning as our graduating seniors took one final walk through the elementary campus — this time alongside our graduating kindergarteners. 💙🎓

For the seniors, it was a chance to reflect on how far they’ve come. For the kindergarteners, it was a glimpse into the journey ahead. One chapter is ending, while another is just beginning.

Check out a few moments we were able to capture from this special tradition.

🎓✨ Our 5th grade students had an amazing time attending the “Careers and Me: What I Want to Be?” Expo hosted by Region 3 Education Service Center!

This was a wonderful hands-on experience that allowed students to explore many different career paths and opportunities for their future. Students had the chance to use tools related to electricity, welding, construction, architecture, and other skilled trades. They also explored sheriff’s equipment, sat inside armored vehicles and police cars, and visited college booths to learn more about higher education opportunities.

Inside the exhibit, students experienced activities involving technology and communications, agriculture, education, broadcasting, veterinary science, nursing, virtual reality, and even learned practical skills like writing checks.

Our students had a blast exploring so many exciting careers, and these experiences will help inspire their future goals and dreams. 💙

A huge thank you to all of the organizations and individuals who helped make this event such a fun and meaningful experience for our students! 👏✨
